You can have this theme placed in the invitations, and ask the invited kids to wear princess dresses as well. For the boys invited in the party, have them dressed in handsome prince dresses. Don`t forget a shiny tiara and wand or scepter for your precious daughter on her big royal day. A similar theme to this would be a fairy theme where everyone wears wings and face paint. Cupcakes always put people in a party mood. You might have cake for any reason, but when you have cupcakes, you know that it is party time. Cupcakes are a very versatile party accessory because you can do so many different things with them.

 

They come in a number of flavors, like vanilla and chocolate, and you can use nearly every color under the sun for the frosting. If you have a color themed party, then you can make cupcakes that match, or if you are having a party centered around a certain character, you can have cupcakes that feature that character.

 

Another nice thing about cupcakes is that they are very easy to make, much easier than making a cake. Also, if you are not a great baker, you can always buy cupcakes. However, if you are feeling adventurous, you can make a cupcake cake. All you have to do is make as many cupcakes as you need and set them all next to each other in whatever shape you want.

 

Once you have the shape the way you want it, you just have to ice all the cupcakes at once. This is a fun way to make a creative cake, and kids will love it because they can just pull off one cupcake at a time, and they do not have to wait for an adult to cut and serve the cake.

 

One idea for a cupcake cake is very easy to do, though it does take up a bit of space. You take the cupcakes and spell out the birthday boy or girl’s name. This is a great way to personalize they party. This is fairly easy to do if the child in question has a short name. If you are dealing with a slightly longer name, you can try using two cookie sheets where you put half the name on one cookie sheet and half the name on the other.

 

You can also make a giant cupcake for your child’s birthday party. You can find the cake molds online and at some home stores. Generally, you make two “cakes” – the top of the cupcake and the bottom. After the two pieces have cooled, you can ice them together. You can usually find cupcake cakes that are about six inches tall!
