One of the best birthday party ideas for girls is to have a sleepover. With a sleepover, it’s a girl’s only party and they can relax and have fun with each other. You can plan a number of fun games that girls will enjoy to keep them entertained during the night. They can also watch movies and eat fun snacks, in addition to eating cake and opening presents.

 

Some fun games include blind makeovers, which can be done in two different ways. The first way is to make the person being made over close their eyes and not look at their face until the makeover is completed. The second, and more entertaining way, is to blindfold the person doing the makeover. This leads to some interesting faces and some great photo opportunities.

 

They can also play “Spin the Bottle” with nail polish bottles. If you use fun colors, this is even more fun to play. The girls sit in a circle and spin the bottle of nail polish, and whoever the top points to when the bottle has stopped spinning has to paint a finger or toenail that color.

 

You can also do fashion shows, where the girls must make outfits out of household products. You can use toilet paper, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags and other things like that. First assign people to be designers, models and judges, and then switch everyone up if they want to do it again. Once the outfits have been designed, clear a space and play some music while the models show off their new clothes. Be sure to have a camcorder or camera on hand.

 

In addition to sleepovers, a girl’s trip to the mall, movies, or the bowling alley can also be fun. Younger girls might enjoy going to visit American Girl stores or Build-a-Bear Workshops. Older girls might enjoy a dance party where you turn your basement or living room into a night club with flashing lights and music. You can serve snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Older girls might also enjoy a trip to the spa with a few friends where they can get facials, manicures and pedicures.
