Kids Birthday Party Fun: How to Have the Perfect Backyard Party

 

Do you have a child who has a birthday in the spring or summer? Do you like the idea of having his or her birthday party outside? If so, then you have found the perfect article. If you have a backyard, you can have a great party without spending very much money.

 

You will need some tables and chairs so that your guests can sit down to eat, and any parents who come can have a place to sit and watch the children run around. If you have the money and desire, you can rent inflatable obstacle courses or moon jumps for the kids. If you don't want to worry about renting something, you can create your own outdoor activities for the party.

 

Bubbles are a great outdoor activity that will keep younger children amused for hours. You can create more complex activities for older children, such as a scavenger hunt. You give the kids their first clue and that clue will give them instructions on how to find the next clue. For example, you have a trampoline in your backyard. You give them the first clue, and it tells them “You can find your next clue hidden where you can jump high in the sky.” This will let them know that the next clue will be hidden in the trampoline. You can make as many clues as you want that will eventually lead the group to the treasure, which can be your party favors. You can also split the party into teams and send them on separate scavenger hunts. Whoever completes the hunt first can win a small prize.

 

Being outside also lets you have a party that you couldn't have in the living room. You could try having a water party even if you do not have a swimming pool. All you need is a few hoses and sprinklers. You can also buy water guns and create a slippery slope for sliding around. All you need is a plastic or rubber tarp and a hose. If you add some dish soap it'll be even easier to slide around. You can set it on a hill so that your guests can slide down it, or you can put it on a flat slope and let them play to see who can stay on their feet the longest.

 

One of the best benefits of having a birthday party in your yard is that you won't have to clean your house after the party ends!
